    Every Penny Helps

Bret Thrushman and Becky Giacobbi are on the Cover of Hometown Magazine (it will be coming out Aug 18th) in their Blue Jay uniforms. It's an ad that Beck-N-Boys is doing and all proceeds from sales on LJAL items sold at Beck n Boys will go into the Becky Giacobbi Medical Fund. Becky is one of our J.V. Cheerleaders who suffers from Rheumatoid Arthritis and is undergoing many medical treatments. We are hoping to raise funds to help offset the cost of these very expensive treatments. She is having chemo therapy, psychical therapy and many other doctor appointments. This is a very debilitating disease that is often not diagnosed in children of her age, we have also set up the Becky Giacobbi Medical fund where donations can be sent or you can give them directly to Gena Thrushman. We will also have a jar up at the Practice Field for donations "Every Penny Helps." If you need any further information please feel free to contact Gena on this matter. "Becky Giacobbi Medical Fund" is registered with the State of Michigan, so checks can be written to the Becky Giacobbi Medical Fund.
